The science or art, concerned with cultivating land, raising crops  and the rearing of animals to provide food, wool, and other products.
BRANCHES OF AGRICULTURE

1 .  Agronomy:



 is a branch of agricultural science of producing and using plants for food, fuel, fiber, and land reclamation. Agronomy encompasses work in the areas of plant genetics, plant physiology, meteorology, and soil science.
OR
Agronomy; Agronomy deals with 
the growing of crops  and soil  management .

2.Horticulture;

 Horticulture concerns with the cultivation of fruits, vegetables, and ornamental crops.

3.Agricultural Economics; 
Agricultural Economics concerns with the business end of farming.

4.Animal Science;

 Animal Science is basically the breeding and caring of animal for specific purposes, such as for there meat, milk and/or fur.

.Agricultural Engineering; Agricultural engineering concerned knowledge of farm machines and equipment. It also deals with developing new systems and practices to address problems facing agriculture.
